Yora Chronicles

novel

O’ humankind⎯ There are three types of stories within this world. The first ⎯ tales passed down through generations, engraved into history and worshipped into legend. These are the ones that are told by the victors alone, heralded as heroes. The second ⎯ myths that are shown yet never seen, lost unto time and a mere echo in the fabric of existence. These are the ones that are forgotten, faded into obscurity as villains. . The last ⎯ the narrative that you process with your eyes alone, colored in shades of gray and with biased applications of morality. These are the ones where all paths lead to conflict, everlasting and beautiful. O’ humankind⎯ You carve your triumphs into stone, yet the words lose their meanings in time. You entomb your failures in the deep, yet the roots still drink their names. You traverse your choices with certainty, yet every path was already mapped. Do not mistake the turning of the wheel for progress! Do not call the weight of memory as peace! Do not think thy choices were made by you alone! O’ humankind! When your altars are crushed into ash, When your graves swallow your heirs, When the crossroads sharpens into blades- Do not look away. Bear witness. ⎯ The Last Chronicle Note - Please be advised all chapters have been deleted (hidden). As they are revised, they will be made available again.
