Just because she works for the Lord of the Dead, it doesn't mean she's a bad person. The gods have returned to bless the people of Earth with a system of magic and power. The only catch is that you have to choose to worship them... forever. And that includes the afterlife. One god rules over this transition, and to serve this god, you literally control the eternal fate of every soul on the planet. Bridgette Nelson has chosen to live her life without the blessings of the gods. It makes for a hard life, but it's nothing that working three full time jobs can't overcome. It's a price she is gladly willing to pay to avoid all the machinations of the gods. Until the day she unwittingly becomes a Reaper and starts on a journey that will ultimately effect every soul on the planet... the pantheon of gods, too. Queen of the Dead is a progression LitRPG adventure in a post-apocalyptic Earth where the gods have returned and shared their magical system with the mortals that choose to worship them. The first main story arc (ie. book) has been completed and we are actively working on the second. We are currently releasing one or two chapters per week.
