The world has experienced a massive upheaval as things only believed to exist in stories appear. Dungeons and Monsters are real now, and they aren’t as amusing as they are in the novels they’re so famous from. One day, strange holographic alerts appear high in the sky all across the Earth. A deep, mature, almost mechanical woman’s voice echoes in the minds of the people. Gaia calls out, warning the world of the realm’s awakening, and the consequences involved. Confused and stunned, people only gape at the sky, while one boy feels as if the entire world is collapsing around him, trying to squeeze the very life out of his body. Screaming as he disappears, panic fills the hearts and minds of everyone nearby as they too scream and run. But that isn’t the end, as the Dungeons collapse, releasing hordes of Monsters into the world, nations fall and the Earth experiences its greatest crisis in all of human history.
